PROGRESS REPORT

September 24, 2006

Today is the 1st day of the third month of U.S. national consciousness rising to invincibility. It is worth taking a moment to consider the dramatic, unexpected, and completely positive transformations that have occurred in the United States and the world during the past two months since the Invincible America Course began on July 23.

Fears of a destructive and costly hurricane season have largely dissipated. Worries that the conflict in Lebanon, and the tensions over Iran, would erupt into a global conflagration have also dissipated. And concerns that soaring energy prices would undermine the U.S. economy are gone. Instead, since the Course began 64 days ago, the U.S. stock market has gained over 600 points—and last week reached its highest levels since early 2001. The price of oil has fallen $18 dollars a barrel, and gasoline and gold prices have plummeted to their lowest levels in six months. And the U.S. economy, floundering as recently as two months ago, was described this week by the head of the Federal Reserve Board as “robust.”

So here is more good news from the past two days, which documents clearly the continuous and historically unprecedented rise of invincibility in the life of America...

Here is some completely unexpected good news on the environment...
The Washington Post: Bush Administration Cuts Pollution Levels Allowable Daily in AirStricter standards on the nation’s air quality will be imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency for the first time in nearly a decade.

And finally, here is a press report describing the remarkable improvements in the world economy taking place through Maharishi’s program to create coherence in the collective consciousness of the entire world...

Associated Press: Healthy Global Economic Trends The Associated Press writes: “The world economy is expanding, inflation and interest rates are stable, employment and incomes are rising — and almost wherever we look around the world, even in sub-Saharan Africa, these healthy trends seem set to continue in the year ahead.”

This is just a taste of the excellent news coming from the United States press on 1st day of the third month of the historic Invincible America Course.
